"It's a real shame that Dr Meyer still works at Dearborn OBGYN. The other doctors there are pretty great but he has made it so I will never go back. He delivered my son and had the nerve to argue with me after 24 hours of labor and tell me that I hadn't tried long enough or hard enough when I requested a C-section. I wasn't asking for it because I was bored of being there- I was on pitocin and every time I would contract my son's heart rate would drop and I knew something was wrong. Two hours after he said this to me I had to have an emergency C-section. As they were prepping me for the C-section he didn't believe me when I said I could still feel everything. I had to say it three times in order for him to believe that I could still feel pain and that I would feel it if he cut into my abdomen. After this he complained about the other doctors in front of me and when I went for a follow-up told me that I was having abortions if I use birth control. I desperately wanted to have Dr Plymel as my primary doctor because she's amazing but it just depends who is on staff when you happen to go into labor, it's completely random who you get."

"By far the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Was rude, cut me off when I was trying to answer his questions. Pushed back when I asked for information regarding my own test results. He scolded me like a child when I expressed frustration. Told me that being pregnant and hormonal was no excuse. He never introduced himself when he walked into the exam room, and completely ignored my wife. He then proceeded to just pull down my pants and examine my belly without any warning. Never once did he explain what he was doing. Clearly this man lacks the understanding and empathy to deal with pregnant women and should retire ASAP."

"Dr. Meyer is by far the biggest jerk of a doctor I have ever met. I am seeking a new OB now that doesn’t think the appropriate time to give a lecture to somebody about “lifestyle choices” is during a pap smear and breast exam. I have never felt so violated by a doctor in my life! Don’t bother trying to answer his questions. He will cut you off rudely and decide what he feels your answer is instead. Total creep who doesn’t need to be in medicine, let alone, medicine for women."
