Pegasus Taverna

"We decided to stop in to Pegasus for lunch. We absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, our server was the nicest person, we loved the atmosphere, and we really loved that our table of 7 was round so we could chat! We had the Opa! as an app. My 13yo said it’s the best Greek Salad on the planet. In fact she wants to go again for the salad! My 15yo had the gyro and ate the whole thing! The rest of our meals were super yummy too! We cannot wait to come back! Thanks for such an amazing time!"

"I stopped in with some friends last night shortly after the Lions game, but before the rush. We ordered a few appetizers, and I ordered the calamari. I happen to be Greek, and I've eaten there many times in years gone by. My friends appetizers were okay at best, but this was the worst calamari I've ever had! It only took a couple of bites to decide to return it. A busser came by, and I asked him to get our server to return the dish. 15 minutes later she stopped by, and all she said was "are you ready for your check." I said the calamari was horrible, and I wanted it taken off the check. She said "no problem." I wasn't offered anything as a substitution, nor did she offer to have it remade. Worst of all, NO ONE from management came over to our table to express any concern. The fact that you have responded to this review is a step in the right direction, and to your credit. Far better than the treatment we got at the restaurant, but I question why you didn't ask who the server was or anything else. I hope you in fact make some effort, but that's on you."

"I ordered a glass of house Chardonnay and the lamb skewer. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The veg were overdone, so it really killed the taste. I've been to Greece many times and realize that this may be "Greek style," but I would've enjoyed the meal much more if the peas and beans hadn't been cooked too much. The atmosphere is nice, and my server was fine. However, on the way out, I noticed that the floor was slippery from one end of the restaurant to the other. There were also quite a few seniors in there. I mentioned it to the short host, asking if they had just mopped the place. He wasn't friendly at all. Sniffing, he said, "Its the grease falling down from the saganaki." The point is, I was trying to help them prevent a potential problem!"
