"Its in the process of being updated so maybe it'll be better someday. Eagles nest cabin kinda felt like we were about to slide into the lake. Pretty sure it's an old shed converted into a cabin. The one updated room "Sunrise suite" was very nice. Lake wasn't what I'd call swimmable, weeds ext. Can't say I'd stay there again."
"Christine made our special date trip so much more special. From her checking in, helping us when we had questions, organic teas and coffee to enjoy, kayaks and paddle boats to enjoy our time, to the special outside areas she has built that are so peaceful and beautiful looking at the lake. We could have grilled if we wanted and she left us all the supplies to grill, we opted to go to dinner in Newaygo and it was very good and not far at all. The lake views, peaceful setting, quiet sleep, hot tub were all such a great part of our stay. The full kitchen was perfect for us too and the room was clean, organized, cute decorations and the air was cool during summer, we were very comfy."

"Best lake house on the planet. Love this place and it only gets better. Diamond lake is the most beautiful, serene lake. Blue Heron retreat is the best place to experience this amazing lake. Plus there is access to the North country trail."
