"The only issue we had wasn't the actual hotel's fault, but the people we booked the room through ... The hotel helped as much as they could ... The pool & hot tub were both closed for some reason ... The freezer in the room could use a good defrosting but other than that, it's a decent place for the price & it's right off of 96"

"I'd give zero stars if possible. I'm here, right now. Not only is it gross and unclean, there was a child sitting in the hallway. A toddler. When we walked downstairs, I didn't pay much mind. When we came back (after being gone for over a half hour) and the child was still alone in the hallway, I tried to approach him and ask if he was all right. He would not speak. So I asked one of my young daughters to go ask if he was all right. The response was alarming and he seemed scared. A mid 20's looking male came out to the situation and also seemed alarmed as well, NOT for the same reasons I was alarmed. I don't know a polite way to word it. As a mother, and very upset, I asked in less than politely words, why the heck the kid was sitting out there alone. He had no answers. He looked like he... had some issues. I called the police. Coopersville police didn't seem to care at all. Called the front desk to follow up. She was awful, denied any credibility even though there is no manager on site when the incident took place. Hung up on me. Horrible. Do NOT stay here. Like ever. Not even if you're desperate."

"got a room to visit friends at gvs. the guy at the front desk was very helpful and kind. the rooms are just what you need without paying like double the price. the location is ok, has a gas station across the street and three different fast food places. Id recommend this place"

"The employees were all very kind and went out of their way to provide the best service. My niece and I went for breakfast near the end of the offered time, and the employee at the desk went out of his way to politely make sure even the (slightly rude) people who came down late had food to eat. I'd stay here again and have already recommended it to family."

"Stayed overnight on a Tuesday and had a pleasant experience as a family of 4. 9 year old loved the pool and that we had it all to ourselves, it was a bit cold for the 3 year old. I think it's awesome they have a poolside chair for handicapped to enjoy the pool, though I didn't test its abilities. The hot tub was out of service during our visit. There were some grossly under cleaned areas in the room/bathroom but the beds were comfy, it was a good value and we were safe. The breakfast spread was better than some but they ran out of coffee."
