The Snug Harbor Inn is a cozy family-owned lodging located at 3492 Memorial Drive in Muskegon, Michigan. Our passion for hospitality is evident in every aspect of our establishment, from the organic herb and vegetable garden to the free-range chickens and ducks that roam our property. Guests can also enjoy picking fresh blueberries from our five-acre blueberry bushes.
Our commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected in our compost system, recycling bins, and water catchment systems. We are conveniently situated across from the Snug Harbor boat launch in Muskegon State Park, offering easy access to boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and picnicking. The sandy beaches of Lake Michigan are just a mile away, as well as the North Muskegon State Park with its scenic boardwalk.
Our recently remodeled room named "Milkweed" features cozy beds, a full kitchen, and bathroom for a comfortable stay near the water. Guests can also enjoy fresh eggs, herbs, vegetables, and blueberries during their visit. We provide kayak, paddleboard, and bicycle rentals for exploring the beautiful surroundings.
All of our rooms are equipped with full kitchens, AC, and private bathrooms. Guests have access to our community room, board games collection, and DVD library. Fresh towels and sheets are provided, with an emphasis on environmental consciousness.

"The cutest place in such a great location! I stayed here solo, and though I don’t normally love being ground-level when I do that this place & area felt extremely safe. Sierra was there to greet me upon check-in and gave great tips on places to see & activities going on for the night I was there. Would definitely return!"
"This is the nicest little inn I've ever stayed at! This was our second year up here, and both times we've had the most pleasant experience. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, not to mention the beautiful Lake Michigan location. The inn itself is quaint and rustic, with a large u-pick blueberry field in the back, a greenhouse, chickens, and wildflowers everywhere. I highly recommend!"
"I have 0 complaints about this place. Absolutely went beyond my expectations of a simple motel overnight stay. You can feel the passion that goes into this place from the owner. Fresh eggs in the fridge, flowers in the window and particularily nice decorations. The beds were quite comfortable. The rooms are super cozy. It's a nice change from your standard temporary hotel stay, it's like a breath of fresh air. I would most certainly recommend this place, it's way more than just a simple room."
"Super relaxing and peaceful location, and a very well kept small inn with Sierra doing her best to make guests feel so welcomed here. The room with a full kitchen (The Roost) was spotless and well stocked with kitchen essentials if you wish to cook on your own. The Inn is a distance from many eating choices besides Bear Lake Tavern so it may not be a bad option to use the kitchen. The grounds are open to explore for guests and Sierra is very welcoming about picking fresh produce when it's available. The fresh, natural vibe is so well felt here with organic coffee and fresh eggs. Look forward to returning!"
