"We come here whenever we are in Onaway. The grounds are beautiful. They offer alot of amenities if you like to swim and/or work out. The decor is dated, but personally I like it, has a 70s vibe especially in the rooms. Everything works! The rooms are clean, spacious and has a great view of the Black River. About the only issue I had was no wifi in the rooms. You could rent a hot spot, or get comfy in the lobby as it's large, with a warm fireplace and a couple of tvs. Overall this is a great place to stay!"
"Best option for lodging in Onaway. Prices are reasonable, and the amenities are adequate. It is, however, like taking a trip back in time to the early 70's in many ways."
"The setting of the building is absolutely beautiful. It overlooks a scenic small lake and bridge. There is a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy along with a couple scenic pathways to a memorial and a small dam. A remote and private location."
"Need to be upgraded for the senior UAW retirees, it is not handicap accessible too many stairs and incline for seniors. The food was delicious the everything was very clean I enjoyed all the classes , and the trips except for all the walking and stairs. I suggest that you are installed some type of rail system that can go up and down the Hills and take you to your destination would be more convenient thank you"
"Visited for a UAW community service event. Grounds is very well maintained. Lunches were provided. Shuttle buses available when needed. Has blue trail diamond walking paths and nice golf course. Off season lots of activities closed. Has water heater issues best to take showers when you have hot water, never know so don’t wait. Lots of history to review while here."
