About the Business
Located on Cliff Drive in Eagle River, Michigan, Cliff View Bar & Cabins offers a great atmosphere with delicious footlongs and ice-cold beer. The institution features four fully furnished 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabins with kitchenettes. Cabins 1 & 2 are available year-round for $110.00/night plus tax, while Cabins 3 & 4 are more rustic and available during the summer and fall for $65.00/night plus tax. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Although the cabins are temporarily unavailable, existing reservations will be honored.
The bar at Cliff View offers a variety of local and big batch beer, wine, and hard seltzers, including popular brands like Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Corona Light. Guests can enjoy games such as Keno and pull tabs while sipping on their drinks. In addition to beverages, the bar also offers a selection of snacks like Twix, Snickers, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. "Stopped at the Bar for lunch, had footlong hotdogs, sat outside, watched the birds flying around the cliffs, and the hummingbirds at the feeders. Enjoyed ourselves, was a very nice stop, server was very friendly, the hotdogs were good, I really liked their relish, it was different and very good!"
"I stopped in because I needed to use the ATM, because I needed fuel and the Gas station down the road didn't accept card. (Not my brightest moment to be low on fuel in the UP) Figured I would have a beverage while I was there. I was the only one in there since it was 11:15. They had just opened. Maggie I believe was the server/bartender. She was super friendly and I enjoyed the conversation. This is my idea of the perfect stop to have a beverage, maybe a quick snack(hot dog & bag of chips), and continue on your expedition. Thank you for the great service."
"Cabin was cozy and warm. The views are spectacular in that area. Shower had good pressure and warm water. Fridge operated as it should. Beds were comfy! Marjie gets major kudos for her timely communication on AirBnb. The bar has a nice inviting feel. Customers were fun and jovial during my stay. Staff was more than hospitable. Kyleigh made the bar inviting, she was on top of drinks, clearing other tables, and checking in with us personally during the proper times. Will be returning to both the cabins and the bar. Thank you!!"
