"My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Castle. Everything about our visit matched the momentous occasion we were celebrating. Everything we could have wanted was waiting in our Grand Suite when we arrived. We could see the stars from our bed (and I imagine the aurora when it shows) through a 10' glass wall of windows. The finishes and appointments were well thought out and luxurious. Ann, our special host, was exceptional and has truly become a friend. We felt both pampered and left-alone, which for us, was exactly what the doctored ordered. It was very relaxing and rejuvenating and we absolutely will return to experience in another season. "Found this place purely by zooming in on Google Maps and saying "Keweenaw Castle? What's that?" One website viewing and one phone call with Nancy later and we booked a 4 night stay in the Turret Suite. Let me tell you we were not disappointed in the slightest. The room has a view of the lake from the bed. Open the windows, lay there, and listen to the waves rolling to just melt your relaxation away. Hummingbirds can be often heard sipping from the feeder off of the private balcony. Or partake in any of the *many* offered amenities. Yard games, fire pits, kayaks, hot tubs, a pool table, sauna, spa services (booked separately on the website), entertainment room with a projector, and a fully stocked kitchen for the guests to peruse when feeling snack-ish. They've thought of most everything. I've been places that claim luxury. This place lives it."
