Quality Inn

"I've stayed at hundreds of hotels all over the Midwest the last few years and this Quality iInn, for the price, is one of the cleanest Quality Inns I've ever stayed at. Couldn't stick around for the breakfast but Tabitha at the front desk was excellent at her job. From outside to in it looked like the whole place had just been redone. If I ever come back to michigan city this is where I'll stay."

"We stayed at this place 10/4 /23 for one night , it was recommended because we wanted a jacuzzi. The registration person was very nice and tried to help us. First room had been broken into, the screen was destroyed and inside window pushed in and off the track. She changed our room, we had been traveling for 450 miles and exhausted. She recommended a great nearby restaurant Got back to new room went to bathroom and there was a huge spider over 1 inch belly and legs, my husband killed it. Checked bed and laid down, a lge beetle like bug but could fly tick like on the ceiling. My husband stood on rickety chair and killed it. Last thing jacuzzi had all sewage exhaust from drain and overflow vent. We were exhausted slept got up early different person behind desk. I have never reported a poor review but felt compelled to let people know. An awful experience we hope we will never experience again, if we had any energy at all at that point we would have left,"

"Stay away from this location. The first room I got on the first floor was very large. But unfinished. Not long after I got settled in, I heard a dripping sound. Found water dripping onto the toilet from the second floor. They moved me to another room with double queen beds, which was okay, but not what I was looking for on my stay. The second room ac/heater was not working.it would not turn on, and it got very warm in the room. They offered to move me again, but that is ridiculous. Just stay away from this hotel."

"I cannot say enough about the staff and management of this local, Michigan City, hotel. They are compassionate and really care about the people who stay. You will feel their love and commitment to their job. I am grateful for my experience with this staff. I received such personal service I wanted to praise them in any way possible. Tabitha your the front line best. I don't know the names of the other 2 persons but the housekeeper and manager are excellent people. You can feel safe because they are definitely there in your best interest."

"At approximately 9pm my toilet blocked up and I proceeded to go to the front desk for assistance. The man on the desk then proceeded to make calls and run around the motel for the next 45 minutes looking for a plunger (which he never did find) while I was standing there in my pajamas. During that time he also proceeded to check in at least 3 other groups of guests whilst keeping me waiting to have this serious issue resolved. He finally gave me another room by which time I had to go back to my room and wake up my already sleeping Wife and Sister to have them get our things together and move to the other room. Reading the reviews I'm not the only one to have a stopped up toilet in this motel. Totally unacceptable, even the email address for the manager that the staff gave me does not work. Wouldnt even stay here again if it was free."
