"Very comfortable, Scott and staff very enjoyable and aware of their guests. The bed was super comfortable and linens smelled clean and fresh. Slept in longer than normal. Very pleasant and unique ambiance with the fireplaces and aroma, fresh ground Brazilian coffee, just the entire stay was superb. We love this place."
"Lake view and beach access. The inn is arts crafts Era. No elevator , I need the exercise. Friendliest folks working here. Brought our own food and shopped local. They let us use dining area to eat, also supplied silverware. Truly hope to visit this place again when warm. Front porch and rocking chairs look out onto the lake"
"I’ve been coming here for years with my family, and this was the first time coming just my husband and dog. The inn was clean and cozy, we love the private beach and the location is close to so many fun places! We always go to Seedz Brewery, Whistle Stop Grocery, and Round Barn Winery."
"Charming! Historic, beautiful, interesting place to stay. The ponds at night have a light show in the trees Beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. A relaxing charming place to stay. The breakfast baskets are super cute. And the staff is nice and friendly."
"We are so glad that we found the Lakeside Inn! Spending a few days at this historic inn was a treat. The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating. The cleaning crew always had a smile and a friendly word. Our room was clean and quiet (love the "quiet time" rule) with needed A/C for the hot week we were there. The front porch was a favorite place to read or just relax. Second favorite was the back pond, with the very comfy Adirondack chairs and the calm of the fountain and frog sounds! The breakfast delivered in baskets was the best...a highly recommended inexpensive add on! The location is perfect and the best part is the beautiful private beach only a short 103 steps down (looks more daunting than it is!) This is our new annual summer spot and looking forward to a possible winter getaway...the fireplace calls!"
