"My brother and I arrived on Saturday night. Sign on the front counter said to use the telephone on the counter and call the listed number for service. Different. My brother called and I could see the cell phone light up through the drapes/window of the room next to the front counter as the guy answered and came to the counter. Also, a sign said no cash accepted after 10 PM (more on that later). My brother and I are both 60+ year olds. My brother had made a reservation. After getting the room keys, my brother asked for confirmation that there were two beds. The guy said no and said my brother must have made a mistake. Not sure blaming the customer is a good business practice. When asked if we could have a room with two beds, he said there would be a $10 up charge. Remember the sign I mentioned; the $10 had to be paid in cash! I’m guessing it went into his pocket. The room was okay. It’s an old property. The bathroom was small, but the shower worked very well. The bed was comfortable. The “hot breakfast” had a waffle maker and a toaster, so it was a “hot breakfast.” We went to a restaurant instead. The lady and man at the front counter in the morning were nice."

"I never write reviews. However, after my recent experience with this hotel, I felt compelled to do so. I echo the pervious reviews listed. If I could, I'd give this place 0 stars!!! After a VERY LONG DAY of traveling, my family decided to stay here. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to BED BUGS (thank God, for the nightly bathroom run). This hotel should be closed for business IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! The carpets were stained, furniture is completely worn and dated, the rooms were VERY dirty, understaffed, stained mattress, dirty appliances, and just overall not a great experience, (This hotel looks like something out of a horror movie). PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE DEMOLISHED RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!"

"The hotel looked nice but I had a hard time sleeping in the bed as I kept itching really bad. Didn't bother my kids luckily so I didn't complain to the staff about but I had literal bite marks on me. There was also a roach in my room. The sink clogged up but they did fix it. The employees were nice for the main part but 1 male Mgr was on the rude side."

"Overall terrible experience. The "hotel" severally understaffs and cuts costs with maintenance too. From worst to most trivial: We booked here specifically to have a pool/hot tub. They were both closed. One staff member said they were locked, but open until 10pm. They were clearly not open as they were dirty, smelled bad, and the hot tub was sitting at room temp. The night attendant was nice when seen, but still scarce. The day staff ran up to me when I went to get breakfast and yelled at me asking what I was doing and what I was looking for. When I said I was on my way to the breakfast area she replied with a terse "Well it's closed. . . that's right you missed it!" then ran off behind a door before I could ask when it ends. Checkout was supposed to be at 11 on our last day, but our cards stopped working on the door sometime between 1am and 8am. Luckily we didn't both step out at first, but I did have to wait until they were done showering to finish loading the car, and we couldn't both leave the room at once. The lobby was kept pretty clean, but all the hallways were completely trashed. outside there were random broken chairs and large refuse. There was no shower liner, just the outer curtain. So the bathroom floor was soaked the whole time. The room looked clean enough, but I know if a mess wasn't obvious it wasn't cleaned because there was old food under some of the furniture and hair still stuck to the bathtub wall. This is the exact place you'd expect to find a body."

"Zero stars. This was a horrible experience from the moment we walked in, unfortunately. I booked this hotel based on the images online through their website. The place is VERY worn, the chairs, couches, floors, carpets, walls, everything. The hot tub was down, the drinking fountain was out of order, half of the hotel was off limits. There was work being done in the pool area on the ceiling & they didn’t have it safely taped off. Lights flickering, spiderwebs everywhere in the hallways. Don’t get me started on the rooms! Drapery was broken so you could see inside the room, hole in the bathroom door, something red splattered all over the closet, dust on the mirrors. The smell was HORRIBLE. I felt like we walked into Bates Motel. We asked for a refund immediately & they pointed a written wall sign to me that stated all refunds are discussed with the manager Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm (we arrived on a Friday night). The front desk worker was nice but moved slow, it took us 30 minutes to check in & then after I asked for a refund (once seeing the rest of the hotel & our room) she said she couldn’t do anything except switch our room, which we did but it did not help at all. We spent the next 30 minutes taking videos & photos of this place. I left a message before leaving, for the manager & twice more since arrival home. He refuses to contact me. This place is the worst I’ve ever been to by far. I’ve stayed at several hotels over the years."
