"I love their vegan sandwiches. It’s difficult to find vegan deli sandwiches in Michigan for some reason…like we didn’t love subway or we didn’t love corned beef sandwiches but Oak House Deli didn’t forget about us. Sandwiches are reasonably priced and a good size. It’s customizable without having to pay all those extra fees just to substitute. I’m grateful for them! My only request would be gluten free and soy free options! That would be great!"
"I can't say enough positive things about this place - why buy a sandwich anywhere else in Royal Oak? I can personally vouch for the following sandwiches, in order from most favorite to less-most favorite: Single Stack, Turkey Avocado, Turkey Reuben, Spicy Turkey Avocado. I've never had a bad sandwich here. Service is friendly and quick, and the prices are very reasonable. A staple of the area, IMO. There is no seating, so plan to get takeout or delivery. Parking is a little tight, but I've never had issues finding a spot."

"My first time here and I will definitely go back to try some other sandwiches. Someone else ordered a Ruben and it looked really good. I got the Italian and didn’t really like it. The crew was super friendly, helpful and patient with everyone. Parking was a bit tight for my big stupid truck, I didn’t hit anything though. They are carryout only and don’t have public restrooms. Lunch was just under $20 for a premium combo and tip. Counter service took less than 10 minutes to order and get out the door. They were playing some deep track oldies off of Spotify while I was there."
"With the amount of times I order from here, I figured it was time to leave a review. The sandwiches here are amazing! I recommend get your sandwich toasted. They also have a great selection of wet salads and a daily soup option. The staff is super friendly as well. I can justify the prices based on the quality of the ingredients. TIP: - Order ahead through their website. With the combination of fresh ingredients, popularity, and staff shortage, it might take 15-20 minutes for your order to be ready. Trust me though, it’s worth it. Thank you Oak House for making me a weekly regular!"
