"We were greeted at the door by Sue. She showed us our room which contains a bed, two recliners, a tv, a small table and chairs, closet, bathroom and a deck with an amazing view. If you don’t visit here to watch the sunrise every morning while you sip coffee looking over northern Michigan nature, then it must be for the breakfast. Sue obviously likes cooking. Fresh bread, biscuits and gravy, eggs, muffins, hash browns, bacon, French toast, pancakes were some of the choices. We had them all (my wife and I were there a few days. So while I liked the place to relax, it was also central to Empire, Traverse, Glen Arbor, Sutton’s Bay. Sue was the best part, though. Someone who enjoys what she does and the nice place that she has. She’s wonderful at taking care of guests. Thank you!"

"Great place to stay!! I wanted a quick getaway with my wife to the Traverse City/Sleeping Bear Dunes area and found this Bed and Breakfast listed with Nature's Rentals. The price was good and it looked like a great location. It was perfect. It was the only rented room in the home and is very private. It has it's own bathroom (a must for us with a B&B) and had a lovely balcony porch that overlooks a meadow backed by woods and a glimpse of Lake Leelanau. Great view. Inside along the room is fit for a variety of purposes. There is a small fridge and microwave, there is a TV with satellite, there are a number of books that my wife starting thumbing through, and even a wine bottle opener and some candles for a more romantic setting. Breakfast comes to the room as ordered from a menu of selections on arrival. It was a really wonderful and large breakfast. Sue's baked goods and her potato cakes were amazing. She is very nice, very helpful and friendly, but also very good at not being intrusive and letting you have your stay and your privacy. I would recommend this for a romantic getaway, which it was for us, for someone needing a few days in the area, or even for someone wanting a private retreat from the world for a few days. It's nicely central to Sleeping Bear Dunes, towns of the Leelanau peninsula, and to Traverse City."
