"Beautiful and spacious room with fresh flowers! Breakfast was an excellent made-to-order omelet. Walking distance to a lovely downtown shopping area and to Charlevoix beach. John and Lynda were the perfect hosts!"
"This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we would love to come back! The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and provide a great breakfast in the morning! It’s in a great location close to downtown. We throughly enjoyed our stay!"
"The hosts, John and Linda, were very hospitable, knowledgeable of the area (where to eat, where to hike, where to hunt for Petoskey stones, etc.), and tasty in the kitchen (We had waffles and omelets.). They were very quick to respond to any of our texts or phone calls, when we had questions or concerns. The facility is well maintained and spic and span, and easy to locate. There is an open common area with ample seating. In our experience sometimes bedrooms lack sufficient outlets for modern electronics; but this was not the case in the Sunflower Inn. The internet connection was solid and quick. The location was convenient to many of the area parks and beaches, and to downtown Charlevoix. It is south of the drawbridge, so travel north can be interrupted on the hour or half hour if there is boat traffic needing the bridge raised. The Inn's website is helpful and accurate. Overall we had a great experience."
"The Sunflower Inn was just perfect for our stay in Charlevoix. The en-suite Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Hosts John and Lynda are delightful and their breakfast was outstanding."
"I think about our wonderful stay with Lynda and John frequently. It has now been 2 years since we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in Charlevoix and had the most magical experiences that were perfectly punctuated by our time spend at the Sunflower Inn. I am a little ashamed that it has taken me so long to write this review - I actually came here to "update" my review just to say I think of this stay often, but found that I didn't have one to update! Lynda and John were made for this! They are incredible hosts with omelets (and other breakfast fare) that will fuel any fun-filled day you have in mind. Like I said, here I am 2 years later still thinking about their beautiful home, fantastic cooking, and the thoughtful conversations among the guests gathered around their welcoming table. Thank you, John and Lynda. We can't wait to visit again soon."
