"Booked a suite that has two bedrooms for one night for me and my friends last weekend. The room was clean, well decorated, and modern. The staff at the front desk was super nice. BUT the AC heating system was not working at all!!! Over the entire night, regardless of how many times we tried, the temperature only increased from 62 F to 64 F which was way too cold for the Michigan winter. I called the front desk who was nice enough to provide two heaters for us. We ended up using them in-the two bedrooms but the living room was way too cold. Despite its nice interior design, I do not recommend this place."

"We stayed in the Northern Blue Penthouse suite and it was amazing! It has 8 bedrooms so plenty of room for our extended family to spread out and everyone had their own space. The views from the penthouse are incredible overlooking Bay Harbor. Lots of things to do within walking distance- make sure to have breakfast at Maple & Batter and dinner at Nomad. The kids enjoyed the private WIFI and smart tvs in every room. Everything you could possibly think of was available and included in our stay. We've stayed at places around the world and this place is one of the best! We'll definitely be back again."

"First visit was great. Amazing clean renovated room, board games for the kids, a book talking about the history of the place and how it was made. Loved it so much we booked again right away for just a few weeks later for my daughter's birthday. I requested a better view so we could see the water better. This room was unfortunately horrible. The carpet was gross and stained, no board games, all furniture was white and stained up, black stuff came out of the jet tub, and the beds we're horrible. So horrible we woke up the next morning and tried to tuff it out in pain but ended up checking out by lunch instead of staying another night that we paid for. The 3 hour ride home to get into our bed was a must."
