"Super nice small quaint stay. Traveling through the UP and we got rained out of our tent. There's 4 units, the one we stayed in had 2 twin beds and a couch, a shower, fridge, and microwave. Located in a small town but it's perfect for a night stay, or even a weekend stay as a home base. Super happy with our stay!"
"Stayed here on my honeymoon Labor day weekend of 2018. Last minute booking and it was worth it. Decent price for the holiday weekend and our room had enough beds for 6 people (even though we only needed a room for 2) Nice little place in the middle of nowhere but well worth it if you are trying to get away! Highly recommend. Will be staying there on my next trip to Rudyard/the U.P.!!"
"Northern Country Inn is a quaint little place in the middle of nowhere lol! But the rooms are VERY clean, comfortable and homey. Jennifer is as sweet as pie! I loved it and I highly recommend it! That's definitely my new favorite spot! I won't be booking a room any where else if I can help it."
"This is a fine little inn that delivers big time on what it sets out to do. There are four very spacious rooms in a relatively new building, with the owners (Dean and Jennifer) occupying the other half of the building. Our room was very clean and the free wifi worked fine as did the cable TV. Comfortable beds. There is also ample, tasty coffee in the morning. We were greeted on arrival by their friendly lab, Copper. We were on an Eastern UP cycling trip and found Rudyard to be an excellent jumping off point for both the Soo and Drummond Island. Very comfortable. Finally, the room rate is more than fair."
