"We will definitely be back! The rooms are older but very clean. The view was amazing. The owners were really friendly and made it feel like we were visiting family instead of being at a motel. The breakfast is not included but was delicious, especially the homemade bread. Even with it being a simple little place my children said it was their second favorite place they have stayed."
"Right across from the dune shores of Lk MI. The folks that run this place are super friendly and accommodating. I called to ask about a cot and Michelle had one in our room waiting. The office is so cute and homey. Best ice cream cones! Super sweet- felt like family ...a good old fashioned family. The dog and kids played in the waves for HOURS! Amazing stretch of beach! Can't wait to visit them again."
"Stayed here several times over the years on the way to the UP. Incredibly friendly and accomodating staff, great location and just an overall neat place and history. Hope I get back some day. Great spot to stay and spend a beach day. They were still getting ready for the season but there is so much potential for this spot. Skip the tourist traps of Mackinac City and come here, you won't regret it."
"My boyfriend and I were on a 10 day motorcycle trip last August. It was after dark and we were looking for somewhere to stay for the night. Came across this place and they were more than accommodating. Wonderful people and would stay there again"
"We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was beyond perfect. All of the staff were polite, friendly, kind and made us feel like family. Even all the guests we met were all like family before we left. Everyone and everything was excellent. You might want to bring some food with you for your fridge and microwave in room for between restaurant hours. They also have a fire pit in front which was a gathering point all the guests shared in. We took a picture on our anniversary day in our wedding clothes with Lake Michigan behind us and hope to do so again next year. Thanks everyone! Couldn't have asked for better or more. P.S.
