"My wife and I along with another couple rode our motorcycles to Forest Gardens Getaway from the Milwaukee area. The house location allows you to get to many different surrounding towns while still away from the busyness in a private and secluded area. The house is extremely clean/well kept, and Debbie and Alan are very generous and considerate hosts. As another reviewer said, there is plenty to do while at and around the house with all the amenities they have to offer and the nature trails. Two things that would be helpful to others considering staying here: 1. The pictures of the house online are good, however in my opinion they do not do the property justice in terms of how amazing it is while being there in-person. 2. Your GPS will have difficulties finding Forest Gardens Getaway. You'll get close, however you'll want to turn onto Twist Lake Road and keep going straight - it will be the only house when you eventually get to the end."

"5 ++ : What an awesome experience. Owners Debbie and Alan are wonderful. Their attention to detail is outstanding. This beautiful and spacious home is nestled in the woods, off the beaten path. Serene is an understatement. Nature did the trick but Debbie and Allen added the "piece de resitance" with the landscape and waterscape garden. Enjoy your home cooked (5 star worthy) breakfasts including fresh fruits while enjoying a view of Twist Lake and the natural surroundings. Great place to relax, inside and out In addition to a large deck and gazebo, there are strategically placed benches along a manacured trail that offer even more views. I could go on and on, but; bottom line, I will be back."
