"Not for high class snooty people but awesome for the price and a great place for working class folks to relax and enjoy themselves. Room was clean, grounds were well maintained. It was quiet and laid back, beds were comfy. We used the barbeque to make some great burgers and made some new friends. The dock area is perfect for kayak and canoe access. Chilling by the canal on the porch swing and watching the sunset is recommended"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome people. Cute room. Kayaks available. Tables, chairs, fishing area, yard games. Fun little place. We love mom n pop businesses ♡ you cannot beat that kind of service and the friendliness that comes with it. We were even given a great restaurant suggestion and had a fantastic meal at Carlas!!! Thanks for a great night guys!"

"I stayed here for a little over a week and the room was amazing and the hospitality was excellent! The owners were very courteous and even understood my neediness! The room was above and beyond what I anticipated at the price. The availability of the kayaks for FREE to my family to use during our stay was something that couldn’t be beat! My kids and I were able to take in the ATV trails as well as the lakes! We are so happy we stayed here and will do so again in the future!"

"Ugh...I wanted to be able to give this place a much higher rating because I really liked the owners and they've got a great idea. The reality is that the building needs a lot of work. The failing sub floor in Cabin #10 has caused a hole in the kitchen floor, the cabinets appear to be barely hanging on the wall. There are cobwebs, and spiders in every corner, missing screens on the windows. The space between the lower bunk bed and the wall is filled with dirt, dust, wrappers, etc. We used a blanket from our vehicle to cover the couch before we were comfortable using it. We wiped the entire cabin down with Clorox wipes upon arrival. The place was very dirty. Type A/clean freaks need to move on! If cleanliness is not a high priority well then you will be happy here. The owners are nice people that are trying to keep the family business going. There are kayaks, paddles, and life jackets available for guests to use. The property has horse shoe pits, yard games, lots of lawn chairs, picnic tables and a very nice fire pit stocked with fire wood and paper for starting the fire. Lots of greatness about this place but the building is definitely showing its age and the cleaning crew leaves a lot to be desired."
