"First time ever coming here. Staying few days in Michigan, seen this place on the news talking about Pączki's sooooo drove down to South Bend to check them out !!!! The line was sooo long got a number 993 they here in the 940's. Didn't take long. They knew there stuff and was just getting it done. The staff were super SWEET and even tho packed they helped me sooo much and didnt rush me. Soo to what u need to know. EVERYTHING WAS SIMPLY AMAZING !!!!! NO MORE will i go to a box store to buy Pączki!!!! This place makes these 1 time a year for a limited time. I will forever now come here"

"This was my first time here and I was recommended by a colleague. I tried the fresh strawberry Paczki, it was delicious. The Italian grinder panini was delicious as well. The atmosphere is a little chaotic because there’s no clear instructions. You have to get a ticket and wait to be called if you are ordering from the bakery side. But if you just want the food, you can walk up to the order here sign. The parking was a mess and it’s only 12:30pm on a Tuesday. Maybe it’s because it’s Fat Tuesday but I had to circle around t the block twice and found street parking. Definitely will come back to try other stuff on the menu and other pastries."

"Love , love, love the food and the service. The baked goods are my top favorite. Get the amaretto almond cake. You need it in your life❤️ They also have THE BEST Cannoli in town. Try a TV bar too! I also like to get an assortment of cookies for the cookie jar at home. The olives and mushrooms are yummy and don't forget to pick up some Authentic pasta and sauce for cooking at home. Get the Italian coffee to have with your goodies, you won't be disappointed."

"Carmela & her team are truly fantastic and we were SO happy to work with them to make the cake for our wedding in August 2022 at Notre Dame. The cake turned out so delicious and also looked gorgeous. It was exactly what I always imagined! Carmela is so wonderful to work with and we loved getting to do a cake tasting with her. We had to delay our wedding by 15 months due to covid, and we did the tasting before we knew we had to move our date. Carmela kept our selections and everything organized during that time which was so helpful since we live out of town and it wouldn't been difficult to do a second tasting. We froze the top of the cake and just tried it on our first anniversary and it was still delicious! We will forever be huge fans of Carmela & Macri's Bakery!!"

"The things I could say about this place is endlessly positive. I can't say I've ever been to a place where the lady taking care of us was so awesome it was truly a life changing experience between the service and the baked goods. We traveled up to the area for vacation and searched for the best donuts in the area and they did not disappoint. Not a ton of donuts were left but we were able to try a maple glazed, some cannolis, a couple chocolate peanut brittle things, an eclair, fudge cake piece, peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, and Boston creme donut. It lasted us a couple days of breakfast but my goodness, they are great. We got some coffee as well since they do their own and a lot of places are kind of hit or miss but even that was great. Then came the little cookie treats the girl gave us because she wanted us to try them. The almond cookie, danish cookies, sugar cookie, and chocolate drizzle cookie were the best cookies I've ever had bar none. They were so soft and melted in your mouth with a delicate little crunch, 10/10 all day. If you're in the area and you don't stop by, you have no idea what you're missing in life in bakery form."
