"I have eaten at Aurelio's twice. The first time I ordered a deep dish pizza with the works on it if I remember correctly and some tomato bread. It was genuinely some of the best pizza I have had and was comparable to Chicago pizza. That was in early 2023. I am not sure what changed from then until Saturday the 11th but my experience was not nearly as favorable this time. The garlic bread was almost rock-hard, and the chicken alfredo was soupy and flavorless (which was $18). The cheese pizza ($20) was good and the best thing of the night but lacked the quality I had previously experienced. The prices are a too high for the quality of food served. Our waitress didn't seem to know what was going on or what the menu items were or what came with what so I am assuming she was new. The other waitress standing around doing nothing decided to watch instead of lending a hand to create a better experience for everyone and left people standing around waiting to be seated. I would recommend going still because you might have a better outcome or similar outcome to my first visit. I will eat here again in hopes this was just a bad day for Aurelio's and update the review then."
"If in LaPorte and looking for pizza, this is the place to go. Beware - they are large. A couple dining companions ordered the little size. Another companion and I ordered the small and a couple ordered a medium. Except for those that ordered the little size, we all carried out leftovers. All good, it was delicious and I like cold pizza for breakfast. A wide selection to build your own. Check it out."
