"I've been with Sterling Insurance since 2018, and have been pretty happy with them. They have for the most part been pretty reliable. The only problems I've had over the years is every time my policy is up for renewal I haven't gotten properly notified ahead of time about my policy changes during the renewal which usually consists of the price going up. During my renewal in 2022 I had an extremely frustrating situation with the department manager not giving me the correct pricing and changing the price on me 2+ times during the renewal. Fast forward to 2023, my renewal is up again. I was connected to Barbara Penning who assisted me with fixing my policy to a better price. She was honest and didn't make it confusing for me as sometimes insurance lingo can be confusing to process. She found me a better plan with Citizens and made my renewal experience a lot less stressful. Better yet, she even lowered my new policy to be cheaper than my 2022 pricing.
