Grayling Country Club

"My wife and I have played here many times before and like the course. We are from the metro Detroit area and come up north once or twice a year so we are not members. But the course is open to the public, big sign at the road "public welcome " I called for a tee time and at first requested August 8th, but they said that there was a member's outing in the afternoon. So we booked a tee time for August 9th a weekday. We played the front nine and made the turn for the back. But after finishing the 10th hole a young employee came up in a golf cart and said we had to get off the course, there was a foursome of members behind us that complained about us being there. We were not playing slow, that was not the issue. So we argued why, we booked 18 holes we aren't hurting the members. No reason just get off. We asked if they would refund the difference between 18 holes and 9 holes, no. We could get a rain check or replay the front nine. We ended up replaying the front nine, but we were treated extremely rudely, totally disrespected and made to feel we were not at all welcome to play there. A totally humiliating ugly experience. When I booked my tee time nothing was said about any restrictions for members only, front or back nine."

"Such an awesome course for the money, let us play a 5-man scramble because it wasn’t busy and even offered a free drink for the wait on hot dogs. Considering the land they’re working with I’m very impressed with the conditions."

"I am extremely blessed to have found this place. The staff here is amazing. I can't say enough about how welcome and appreciated they make me feel every time I visit. i also feel this course represents a purist philosophy to the game as the significant areas of play are woven to untouched " wild " landscapes where nature that remains natural border the high quality of fairways and greens and bunkers and etc. As the field of the sport blends to untouched forests , marshes, and the wildlife blurs the lines of in and out of bounds I am in awe of the beauty of Grayling Country Club of Michigan. Grayling Country Club is teaming with life and naturally it improves the quality of mine. It has a price that promotes accessibility for whom crave a taste of affluence without paying ridiculously for it. I love this place and hope to see you and yours there where you are sure to be welcome. I joined the club, and found an entire new level of joy in my life. I suggest you do the same."

"Beautiful and well maintained course. All the staff members are a great group of people. Every one I have golfed with are friendly and enjoyable to be with. Food is tasty and priced correctly. Season is winding down, but plenty of play days left for 2022."

"First year member and I’m happy with that play. Great track for the $ staff and GM Andy are very friendly. Couple challenging holes and well maintained. Side note: probably some of the best food in town."
