North Peak Brewing Company 400 West Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684

"North Peak is a great option though I rarely think of it. I am not sure why but perhaps it is the location which is just off downtown. My friend suggested we meet there as it was close to her optometrist. Done. The food was good and the service was exceptional - our waiter was friendly, attentive but at the same time not intrusive. We felt welcome to linger. My only complaint was the up-charge for paying by credit card. Really? I realize cash is king but in the restaurant business paying by credit card is a given. It should be built into the price. Lunch was not inexpensive. It really ticked me off seeing that additional $2 added on a $30 meal. Ticked me off enough that I am still thinking about it…."

"Honestly I'm not impressed. This place needs a happy hour for the fall/winter off season. A pint of beer is $8.50. My wife got a pint that came with a lime and the lime was brown. We're sitting here now and the place is empty. Seriously guys do half off pints and apps or even 25% off til 5pm or something on the weekdays and you might actually bring in some customers. Oh and their tap water tastes like how a swimming pool's water smells."

"The hostesses were friendly, great atmosphere, very well stocked bar and a good varieties and selection of brew pub beers , food was good ………. Our issue: Our server who was also the bartender (we sat at the bar) could’ve cared less that we or anybody showed up so he could make a living. I had to stop him from talking to get a beer it was as if we were invisable for 10min. We ordered food as soon as we got our drinks because we knew better then to let him go. Our Food came out fast(good kitchen) after we received our food we were never asked if there was anything else we needed or if the food was even good. My girlfriend had to flag a table server down and asked for condiments for us and we had to flag the bartender from on the other side of the bar to plz get our second round of drinks. When we were done we stood so the bartender would know we were done and We waited 15 minutes still to get our bill and it never came so then again we asked the bartender on the other side of the bar if he could help us in getting the bill. At one point all the folks on our side of the bar heard the our bartender say to the other bartender, he didn’t want to be there and asked if he would just take all his seats for him so he could leave . The brewery is a nice place and everyone was top notch we just got a bartender who hates his job or so it seems… don’t let my story ruin your experience. Just don’t sit at the bar with that bartender."

"First time! My friend recommended. Very delicious Wasabi Salmon sandwich with a kale slaw. Fries are unique. Our waitress was very efficient with our party. I recommend if you’re in TC!"
