"RenewCare Home Health care exists as a pure money grab. Had shoulder replacement at Corewell Health Royal Oak and the next day received a phone call from RenewCare. There was no need for any assistance but I thought, what the heck, won't hurt to have a nurse come and check me out. The RN spent about 45 mins in my home and spent the majority of the time "signing" me up! The simple item that I needed help with was pushed aside and my incision was not even looked at-worthless. The next day an OT therapist came in and was lovely, but even she admitted there was no need for her to be there. Long story short, two visits and I ended up paying $320.64 after my insurance paid their half. All for the same items that Medicare would have paid $268 for. SCAM!! If this company calls you after surgery and you are able bodied, just say NO THANK YOU!"
"Despite their cheery nature on the phone this company has standards that they do not live up to. Not purchasing supplies, not communicating supply issues, physical therapists not showing up but trying to convince the patients that they were there and didn’t remember *cough cough* FRAUD, manipulating and being bullies to staff, having unrealistic expectations for staff, the staff that has a genuine heart does not stay and does not get treated well if they do stay. They cannot keep a full time nurse at this company - this alone speaks volumes. They are horribly ran and not safe to be “providing care” to anyone."
"24-hour service never called me back. Renew never ordered my supplies I had to do it."
"Service is terrible the staff tries to push there times on you. And you don’t do the time that they want you to do they won’t show up!! My mom was suppose to get showers. They made up excuses why they never came. Tried to blame my mom once again. Because the staff member has jury duty. What about the patient!! I wouldn’t dare recommend this place do your research. And the Supervisor doesn’t care so don’t bother to complain to her."
"Speaking from perspective of doctors office, very unprofessional and do not take responsibility for basic tasks they are contracted to do such as obtaining and reporting labs. Unsafe for patients and inconvenient for other professionals."
