"I have had RCPD for as long as I can remember. I have never been able to burp. Once I found out Dr. Rubin could perform the surgery I have waited years for, I was thrilled. The initial exam consisted of a scope (done in office, not scary at all) and some testing I had to have done. After the testing and first appointment I was a candidate for surgery. "I had a very positive experience with Dr. Rubin and his team. I came in to get treatment for R-CPD, which is a fairly newly discovered condition. Based on what I've read online, there are very few doctors who are knowledgable about this and willing/able to treat it (many people need to travel across the country to receive treatment), but when I came in to see Dr. Rubin he was already familiar with the condition and was able to treat me quickly and successfully.
