"Jennifer was a great therapist when we were having our sessions, but after she took a work hiatus and said we would pick up our sessions after, she disappeared. I never heard from her or did any off-boarding process, and I was never told that she wanted to end our sessions. If I had known, I would have spent time during her hiatus to find another therapist, but I ended up going without treatment for several months. I recommend her for all of her specialties but not if you're looking for long term support. EDIT (response to response): "Im sorry my hiatus was longer than expected and wasn't able to return as quickly as hoped." - That's fine, the hiatus was not the issue. "I did my best to communicate from November to February the status of my return." - And you did communicate, until you disappeared altogether. "I also offered all my clients at the time assistants with linking with other behavioral health providers to avoid gaps in service." - And I didn't take you up on that because I was willing to wait the few months, knowing you were coming back in February. Come February, there was still no response from you or any staff, so I wasn't able to make an educated decision on the actual situation, which had changed with no communication. Also, I'm glad the other review you sourced to offset mine (the language is pretty obvious) was from someone who had a good experience. Unfortunately, mine was negative and the lack of accountability in your response doesn't help."
"Jennifer has helped me shed a lot of light onto my everyday struggles and why I have them. She is poised and careful in her replies, validates difficult feelings, and makes herself available in times of high stress. Despite the prolonged break at the beginning of the year, I feel that my treatment has not been interrupted and am hopeful about my continuing progress with her."
