Beaumont Urgent Care

"I was traveling and had a need for non urgent care. I went to the Beaumont Urgent Care in Livonia and had a wonderful experience. Mindy at the front desk was great getting me into the system quickly. My wait time was less than 10 minutes. Nursing team, Jess was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. I was throughly examined by Susan, she is a fabulous NP that exceeded my expectations. It’s never fun to seek medical care when traveling, as I nurse myself, I can not speak highly enough for the care I received today! Thank you for the outstanding care today!"

"Worst experience ever at an urgent care today. First, they said my insurance was not active despite that I know it is as I used it the day before and so I log into Blue Care Network myself on their website and am able to show a “proof of benefits form” dated with today’s date to show that insurance IS active but they wouldn’t accept that. By this point it had been over 40 minutes of trying to check in to get my daughter seen and calling insurance company and checking website and I just really needed my poor sick daughter to be seen so I agreed to just pay the $195 as a cash visit and will have to submit to Blue Care Network myself later to be reimbursed. Then despite filling out on their electronic Check In form and telling the provider we saw in the urgent care himself the pharmacy I needed my daughter’s eye drops sent to when I got to the pharmacy they did not have them because they were sent to a wrong pharmacy that was not even open at this time! So then I spent more time at the pharmacy where they tried to pull the prescription from the other place but then no prescriptions showed up under my daughter’s name. Finally I realized that despite me filling out a paper form and filling out an electronic form to check in at the urgent care they somehow still misspelled my daughter’s last name for her chart in their system!!!!!! So prescription was sent under wrong name. I had to call the urgent care back to have them fix the name in the chart and the pharmacy in the chart so that doctor could re-send under the right name to the right pharmacy. The whole ordeal was just terrible and I still am out $195 that I have to try to get paid back through my insurance now. This is my 4th child so I have had to do many urgent care visits for sick kids through the years and never have I had such an experience of incompetence before. I am a nurse practitioner myself so I typically have a lot of patience when it comes to healthcare visits because I know we are all just trying our best and this is the first bad review I have ever left a medical facility before but I am just so upset that I felt compelled to leave this review after my experience today. I will also add there was NO ONE in the waiting room when we were there so it was not like the place was overwhelmed and slammed with patients either."

"First impression, I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the front desk. I had an appointment, so my wait time was minimal. The nurse who took my vitals was cheerful and professional. The doctor was efficient with his diagnosis and prescribed medication and I am on the road to recovery. Thank you!"

"Made an appointment online. Was seen by my appointment time. The staff was friendly, informative and generally interested in my care. It was nice that they can fill some prescriptions at the clinic for you. I would definitely go back for an urgent care visit."

"The facility was very clean and everyone was very professional. I was immediately checked in and there was a very short wait before seeing the doctor. The nurse asst was very patient and she listened carefully to my reasons for coming into urgent care. The doctor answered all my questions and was very clear on her diagnosis of me as well as her recommendations to help me feel better. This urgent care team runs an excellent facility. I will highly recommend this facility. I am Very Satisfied overall."
