"Clearly understaffed. Calls to J&B never connect with a live human being. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, a recorded voice will tell you to leave your name and phone number. Sometimes they will call you back, and other times, well, you don’t hear from them. Have been trying for close to two weeks now to acquire a continuous glucose monitor for my diabetic wife, and still do not have one. To be fair, there was an error in the prescription, which was not J&B’s fault, but trying to iron out the kinks and get the prescription filled is an arduous process, as you can never connect with a representative in a timely way. When I did manage to connect, the representatives have all been helpful, kind and courteous, and have been clear in their explanations of benefits and insurance issues, etc. J&B needs to hire more help to process the calls and the influx of data, and just maybe, pay their help a little better so they can attract more of such help. I was told by yesterday’s representative that the scanning department was fully two days behind in getting incoming faxes scanned and entered into their system. Expect your orders to be fulfilled at a glacial pace."

"My elderly parent has to deal with this company as it is the mandated company for his insurance. For example , He called four times this morning and was disconnected each time. This is not an isolated instance as he repeatedly deals with the poor service in obtaining his diabetic supplies in a timely manner almost every month. His doctor office cringes when we ask for help as they are aware of the poor service at J&B Medical. This company has poor reviews and a poor BBB rating. Why is this allowed?"

"We have been waiting over 2 months for medical supplies post surgery. The company will say the delay is because of the fact that we changed the request or they will blame it on the drs office. Yes! Indeed! That is true. We changed the request of what is needed because we never got what we needed post surgery and over 2 months down the road the need is different!! I have signed 3 waiver or assignment of benefits forms. J&B is really on top of that. But getting the needed supplies to you or following up on that, no."

"UPDATE- contacted by customer service- she understood the circumstance and was able to reship since nobody actually received the items. It would be nice if the initial call center person could have noted the issues and resolved the issue. Thank you for listening and understanding our situation. My daughter has received incontinence supplies from J&B for several years. I'm not sure what has changed but service this time I needed to contact them was insane. On hold for 20 min before talking to a person. Then the person was rushed, and unpleasant. Then wasn't able to answer questions. I saw that the delivery was refused at her prior care home, and returned to j and b. When I asked her what happens now, I was on hold for another ten min. She told me because the account wasn't updated 10 days prior to shipment then I'd have to wait until next month. I then asked if the insurance company would be reimbursed because the shipment was returned and she put me on another hold. So far I've been on hold for another 10 min. Plus apparently I just go without supplies for a month. A 38 min phone call. Still no resolution."

"When it came time for my parents to start using diabetic and other home Medical Supplies, the staff at J&B were able to get us what we need in a timely fashion. We were able to utilize the latest products available on the market to give my parents the best chance to improve their conditions. We were able to speak to a nurse practitioner to ensure that the products we were ordering are the right fit. The supplies were delivered via FedEx, and reordering is made as easy as possible. Staff was also very helpful in coordinating with my parents' respective insurances, and helping us through the process. Really appreciate all the help and guidance, thank you J&B!"
