"DR HELZER .. he is the BEST at what he does and he’s a real person if you choose him as your pcp he will bond with you and tell the way it is. and he be honest (brutally sometimes) but he genuinely loves his patients and genuinely cares about his patients health! the is real.. i suffer bladder cancer and a USMC vet stationed at camp lejeune… here’s one for you.. i had my annual with VA and they gave a an all clear .. then medicare also requires an annual so Helzer did mine and he is the MAN .. he detected abnormal cells in my urine which became an ongoing investigation of what was wrong with me. CAT scan revealed a tumor and after removal it was determined to be malignant. I honestly owe my life to Dr Marc Helzer .. a great doctor and a good man that i look up to.. Marc thank you for saving my life … he’s a good man.. and if you have a chance to pick a doctor under u of m health west.. pick Helzer and stay alive and stay healthy.."

"You guys are my primary because options are limited but I constantly feel disrespected my front desk staff. They are rude and impatient on the phone CONSTANTLY. It’s upsetting, why are you working this job if you cannot be decant to people. I’d also like to mention that I’ve been misdiagnosed plenty of times here and I’m just over it. You’re better off waiting in finding a different doctors office."

"4 weeks pregnant...Okay I just want to say that the young lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly.. other than that I was disappointed with the labs because I simply went in there to get Labs due to the long drive that I normally take to Cascade because I live in Greenville figuring this was closer.. but it was not worth it. Unfortunately this is one of the worst blood draws I've had. Believe me I've had many and it's unfortunate that phlebotomist had to smack my arm six times just to get my vein up even though it was pretty prominent since I was making a tight fist.. so that was surprising and then worse she couldn't get the vein so she retried I finally said please stop pull it out. So I asked her just to do my hand because my veins are very prominent there and so she did it successfully although at the end she blew up my vein and it was the size of a grape and now it hurts and itches and stings so much fun 4 weeks pregnant. Will be going back to Cascade it's worth the drive just for an easy in and out.. not a good experience"

"They make you come in every 3 months for a med check. Typically this is an annual appointment at most places. Another reason to bill an appointment and collect a co-pay. I’ll be looking for a new provider. The low star reviews are accurate. I wish I would have read them first."

"I switched from Metro Health recently. They were great until the last year or so. Then it went down hill. Seems it's no longer about fixing the problem. Went in and was accused of being a pill taker. They didn't resolve my sons medical needs either. They are sending us other places when the pcp should be solving the issue. Absolutely done with Metro."
