"We always go here when we want a great meal. The last time we were there we were in the middle of moving into our new home. My husband ordered chicken and waffles, he said this is the best chicken, look at these teradactyl size wings, then I said we should have them cater for our Christmas meal. All I can say is that the servings were plentiful. Everyone at their fill and they ALL wanted more chicken for a later that evening snack! We had fried chicken,collard greens, sweet potatoes, green beans, cornbread muffins. But we ordered two pies one cheesecake and one apple, I should have ordered 4 of the cheesecake, those pies were out of this world. For people that say that the portions are too small, WHAT? Nothing is ever small and we get so much food we end up taking things home."
"This was an absolute fiesco!! Our wait was very long when the restaurant was nearly empty! Our service was poor! Worst yet, our food was the worst!! The fish entree was very over cooked, tasted like rubber! Fries were cold! The NY strip daily special was well done, over cooked when we ordered it medium rare! Sent back then the second strip was nearly raw! We were never offered drink's then the server served the party who came in after us first!! Very negative experience! A waste of money and time."
"It has so much potential! It's average at best, but definitely worth a few visits to make up my mind. The menu is inclusive of a lot of dietary issues. I had the creme brulee French toast and hash browns. 2 people in our party got completely different meals than what they ordered, but the service was so slow, they just ate it. We will definitely give it another shot!"
