"Rocco’s pizza is the absolute jam. No joke this is the best pizza in town if you like NJ style pizza. DoorDash can be hit or miss. Two orders were wrong but the owner was more than happy to make things right. Crust is crunchy on the exterior, chewy with a cornmeal bottom. Slices are huge that demand to be folded when eaten. Flavors are perfect. This is in my top 3 pizza spots in the city. There isn’t anything else like it. Big fan."
"This was the best pizza I have ever had and I have had a lot of pizza around metro Detroit. The sauce was absolutely incredible. The cheese is just gooey enough to where it wont fall completely off, but it melts in your mouth. Finally the crust is lightly crisped where it is stable to hold whatever you top your pizza with, yet doesn’t feel like you’re taking a bite out of a brick. Easy to fold. You won’t find something quite like a Rocco’s pizza anywhere in the state. If I could give more than 5 stars I would."
"Delicious Jersey style pies. I opted for two slices as you can’t by pizza by the slice really anywhere in this area. Ate at Rocco’s in Manhattan a week before and tasted very very similar. This place is the real deal for Jersey style Italian-American pies."
"VERY impressed with Rocco’s. Often when I order thin round pies it’s usually undercooked and very floppy. I got the Kung Fu Chicken pizza and it was not undercooked, there was no flop and had a great crisp. If you prefer a more traditional pizza the Kung Fu chicken pizza is different taste wise but nerveless delicious. I’m excited to try more items on the menu. The garlic knots are really great as well, super addicting. You can taste the quality. Very impressed and MILES better than what Primos was making. Update: after a month 1/2 and 7 pizzas later. This pizza is incredible. I've tried the jersey style round and their grandma style square and I'm blown away by every pizza I get from Rocco's."
"Pizza is about style. They have style here, Jersey Style or Grandma Style. Jersey is thin round, Grandma is thicker but not deep dish thick, square. Service was great, informative and customer oriented. Atmosphere could use a table or two, for sitting while you wait or to eat a slice. Pizza was good, had a large Jersey style, sauce was flavorful and cheese was equally distributed. Crust was crispy and chewy, perhaps overly chewy a bit. They'll be a good addition to Oak Park but there is great pizza in nearby cities, will be interesting to see how they do. Wishing them success!"
