"Never officially had Detroit style pizza but was pretty good. Guess it is thicker crust and sauce, a mix between New York and Chicago. Wings were saucy also and good. Had the Detroit style pepperoni. Guess it is a chain, meaning you can expect a certain amount of good. Would go back. Wasn’t that busy for lunch, sure picks up dinner and games."

"We had our sons rehearsal dinner at Buddy’s and were very happy. Before the day I gave Mark our menu selections over the phone. I had to call back two times to change things and Mark and an assistant manager were very understanding and gracious. They didn’t make me feel like I was being a pest and I appreciated that. When we got there, they had two long tables set up for us in the back and then, when people got seated, they set up a third long table as a Buffet for all the food. They were very good about setting things up the way we wanted with a gluten-free dairy, free pizza and an antipasto salad with the toppings on the side for people who could not have dairy or were vegetarian. It was delicious! Matt came by and checked on us fairly often as did our server.( sorry I don’t remember her name.) Everyone made us feel welcome, and it was a great success. Thank you"

"When in Rome, right? Had to try to Detroit style pizza and this place popped up with rave reviews. Didn’t disappoint! Not a franchise although it feels like it could be based on the vibe inside. Apparently there are around 18-20 locations around. Nothing wrong with the vibe. Of course, pizza was the only thing I was looking into. Comes in 4 slice and 8 slice sizes. 4 slice is probably a small / medium in other places and 8 slices medium / large. These are rectangular pies (can I even call it that anymore) so the comparison to circular pizzas isn’t quite there. They have a ton of toppings and crust types and sauces to really make the pie your own. I chose an option that was on the menu. The Mediterranean. Great flavor! Crust crispy. Cheese with a little tart, in a good way. Veggies not overpowering the pizza but still tasty. Some “sauce” drizzle on top. I didn’t realize there was no tomato / marinara sauce so I asked for some on the side to dip the pizza / crust, as needed. Great beer selection as well. Proud to support local breweries. Service A+. Anita was nice and friendly. I hope you get to dine with her."
