"This location has changed names and ownership pretty often over the years, but we lie to stop in and see the changes and try the new food We hadn't stopped by since it became Shiromaru and we regret not going sooner! I prefer ordering at the counter, taking a number and sitting down at a table of our choice to wait for the food. The drink selection was nice and the menu was enticing with classic staples and unique special rolls. The unagi on the roll was fatty and tasty. The rice bowl was a generous portion and the tuna was fresh. The classic tonkotsu was delicious, rich in flavor, the pork was tender, the mushrooms so thinly sliced, and a huge portion. We will definitely be back for this ramen dish!"
"I lived in Japan for 2 years and this is some of the best ramen not only in Michigan but in the US. It's extremely flavorful and blows other places out of the water. Everything else is excellent too including the pork bowl and the miso soup!"
"Food was amazing, we got the Chicken Paitan and Black Tonkotsu Ramen with added spice. All of the noodle dishes were delightful, the pork in the tonkatsu was by far a favorite, my wife is not a fan of pork but was surprised how much she loved it in the dish. They are accommodating of allergies and everything was fresh and flavorful. We also had Snow Maiden Sake also quite good. On a second visit we had the Black tonkotsu Ramen again and the Udon Set and were very pleased."

The Ramen noodles are cooked to perfection, and the presentation with sides in the bowl is a thoughtful touch. However, the only drawback is that the broth lacked the robust flavor expected from a top-notch Ramen spot. Overall, a solid 4-star dining experience with room for a more flavorful broth."
