Steak 'n Shake

"Every table was dirty. When I asked about clean table available I was handed a wadded up handful of dry paper towel. Then when I asked for solution to properly clean table myself a Manger came out mad and cleaned it then said that isn't the only table in here, however I replied but they are all dirty. I later called spoke with whom said they were the store manager only to be treated disrespectful. When I then requested to talk to general manager the so called store manager said sure and turned sweet as can be and even went on to say her exsact words "I wasn't trying to be a BIT--". I was absolutely floored at this point that anyone in a manager position would openly talk this way to a customer who was not yelling or using profanity at any point in conversation. Needless to say general manager never reached out and I don't think this restaurant is the type of establishment I want to frequent. Note to restaurant clean the tables it's simple and it's a rule under health and safety. No one wants to pay these higher fast food prices and sit at tables with ketchup and grease smeared all over them."

"We have ordered from here several times and I love how pleasant and understanding they are for special requests. Vivian and Haley (hope I spelled their names correctly) are the ones who usually make my order and they are just the sweetest young ladies. I highly recommend ordering from here. Their steak burgers are very good and made fresh while you can watch them cook."

"They gave me raw chicken tenders. Feels like they put it in the fryer for a minute just to be hot then took it out cause they didn't want to wait for it to cook. I also want to add when I called about it the lady responded as if this wasn't a new thing. Did not seem concerned whatsoever and just refunded my order."

"Recently had a craving for steak ‘n Shake, as I have not had it in a very long time and decided to dine in, (luckily because we saw the absolutely disgusting conditions this restaurant was in). The pop dispensers were so disgustingly dirty that they would get stuck on when you would try to use them, the tables were all slimy and some not even cleaned if any even where, there was visible garbage and spiderwebs in numerous different places throughout the restaurant. We ordered two different meals, both arrived completely not edible. The buns were completely wet and soggy and it looks like they had picked mold or something off in numerous different spots because there where chunks of the buns missing on both meals. One of the meals was supposed to have a large fries, and it had the same amount of fries as the regular meal, and the big 10 minutes on the meal that was supposed to have bacon was pretty much completely raw. As soon as we saw the condition of the food, we realize there was absolutely no way we would be able to eat this food, and it was handed directly back to the manager for a full refund. The staff was extremely rude about the food not being edible and we’re very upset when I asked for a refund. The manager was shown the condition of the buns and thought it was no big deal. A refund was supposed to be made in a fraudulent receipt from Brandi was given that showed I was supposed to get the money refunded to my card for payment. They falsely claims that they were giving a refund when in fact, no refund was made so I had to do a dispute with my bank. I would very highly recommend to avoid this restaurant at all costs."
