"This was my 1st time to this location after hearing about this place a lot of times from people around me. This place has an amazing ambience, and it was so cool to find out that this place has been open for about 4 decades. A few of my favourite items were the Chimichangas and the margherita. Service wasn't bad as well. A definite must visit place for Mexican cuisine."
"Have always enjoyed the steak quality. Most Mexican restaurants don't have very good steak on their tacos. This place always has good quality meat."
"Nasty soggy nachos. Ordered carry out so didn’t notice til I got home. Manager said “yeah the chips are soggy, there are beans.” Tony the manager said he won’t do anything unless I get back in my car and drive it all the way back. I’ve been coming here since I was a CHILD. This is less than mediocre. Clearly new ownership or something. Nasty."
"We are blessed with many great Mexican Restaurants around the Downriver Area and Mexican Gardens is certainly no exception. This has been a long time favorite of mine for many, many years. I can always depend on consistency of delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Bravo to all who work so hard to make dining here a positive experience."
