"for the fries to be $5 i would except to be taken to flavorvillie, especially when i order cajun. i feel like the seasonings were very lacking."
"This is a personal preference review. There are two schools of frying chicken... the deep fried which is used for a crispy crunchy outside, or the shallow fry which usually results in a lighter texture... say KFC Original Recipe. I'm more a shallow slow fry kinda guy. If you like the crunchy crispy chicken... this is a good spot. They have numerous menu items, hence I'm going back for the fried oysters and the deep fried pickles."
"When I tell you won’t have better, I mean it. This is the first I seen such a different array of items. Instead of normal catfish they got catfish bites. Amazing, first time but nonetheless amazing. Wings fresh - Always - succulent and moist. I’ve been to a lot of different fried food establishments and this one is up there for surrreee. Staff are friendly and the place looks fun, different by still nice. Clean on the inside and the workers keep a healthy environment by the looks of it. If you see one on a drive I assure you at least stop by."
"The company I worked for hosted an event. I called to see if Manhattan would open up early for us so we can host the event and they did! The food was hot and very tasty. They were very kind and was very supportive of the schedule we needed to keep! My only issue was being charged a 'fee' for providing a deposit as a good faith gesture. I did this because the order was so large. A deposit amount is less that on the bill, not to be taxed along with the remaining balance."
"This restaurant serving soul food is an absolute 5 out of 5! Every dish is top-tier, fresh, and tastes like it's made by a true southern mother. It's a must-try! The collard greens, Mac and cheese, potato salad, French fries and all the sides are exactly like how it’s made on the thanksgiving table with love! This place has their seafoods on point, I can talk for hours about how good the battered shrimp was, crispy, not oily at all and you can actually taste the freshness of the shrimp not like the other place around the corner off Evergreen. Not only is the food great but the customer service is A1 Every single customer gets treated like family. This place is a must try when visiting Metro Detroit if you want to try what true soul food is!!"
