"This food is absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had food such horrible in my life! I called up to this place of business before I even placed my order and asked if they had an ATM since it’s a all cash restaurant, the lady that answered the phone stated that there was an ATM. I came out of my way to eat here, I don’t live in Detroit. When I arrived I didn’t notice the ATM, the lady stated that she thought that I was a child playing on the phone. In my mind I would think that she would say no ATM if she didn’t want kids coming up to the restaurant playing. Now I had to drive and go located an ATM to come back and pay for my food. I paid $27 dollars for food that these cooks should have be embarrassed TO EVEN SERVE. the “ MOJO’S” sign should be taken down because yousiff would never!"

"In my visit back to my hometown, coming from Louisiana there's no comparison. That Detroit Family Soul food on Schoolcraft is "The Bomb dot com!"I got the Smothered Turkey Chops with Collard greens and Mac & cheese. The dinner comes with cornbread and you can get Detroit's famous Fargo Red pop all at the great rate of $20. It was money spent and the meat was tender, tasty and oh so delicious. I will definitely be back to try something different from there full soul food menu. They even have burgers and sandwiches. My only issue was I didn't see a sign on the door, but I had the address. Go get you a plate and see for Yousef, They close at 8, tell em ML sent you! Southern Soul vs Detroit Soul is no comparison, they both Good!"

"They didnt make my order or gave it away to someone else ... idk but I had to wait 35 minutes for it and additional 10 to what she told me... the yams are horrible & the mix kool aid too... I was so scared I think this is in the hood... overall the food was good I ate everything but them yams.... they also don't put alot of bananas in the pudding..."

"Dear Mr. Yousef, I have nothing bad to say about your food. It was edible and states better than most of these corner "Soulfood" places near by. I appreciate real food anytime of the day. However, I do have issues with your staff and the quality of service received. First, I waited 45 minutes for cold food. There was no attempt to reheat or even microwave the food. Secondly, the young lady at the counter wearing a bonnet, was rude and inconsiderate. Along with the lack of hair nets and gloves, her behavior and the way she spoke to customers was very disappointing. She and another young lady behind the counter told a paying customer "Beggers can not be choosy" when questioned about the order not being correct. Finally, To stay open as long as you do on a Saturday night,there is probably a lot of preparation to be done. We came around dinner time and were told "we are out of...." basically everything. I believe in patronizing black owned and local businesses. I left a restaurant in Dearborn to come to your establishment based on a recommendation. Please work on your staff. The food was decent, but the service was definitely terrible."
