"I was at the Alley Cat Cafe recently while checking out the other breweries in the area and was not terribly impressed by the service. We were served our drinks and that was the last time we saw the waiter until we opted to leave about 30 minutes later. With that in mind, I cant review the food. The atmosphere is very nice and the menu had some excellent sounding dishes. While there was a show later that evening we were in several hours before the rush and they just seemed very underprepared and understaffed even at that point. Also, we were expecting some kind of selection of coffee type drinks with the name being Alley Cat Cafe, but alas they only serve regular ol' coffee."
"Such a cool place. The bar tender was the best, super friendly and fun. The crab cakes were the best I’ve had in Michigan! The cocktails were strong but yummy! The bar tender gave us a tour of the place and was telling us how the basement is haunted. This place is connected to a coffee shop that’s open during the day which is also good and worth trying. You can have a small event here too."
"Our server, Chris, took care of us. I met Jen, the owner. She really cares for her patrons. Wonderful food and sweet atmosphere. We drove up from Monroe County (1 hrs. 20 mins.) And we WILL be back!!! Thank you, Jen! Thank you, Chris! Thank you, DJ! We were well taken care of, and as a vegetarian, I appreciate their menu options."
"Nice cafe and bar to check out. I was looking for a cafe around and got confused when I entered it was a bar so i just drank. Later i realized there's a stairway to the lower ground where the cafe is at. The comfort room has cat cool designs and u can draw on the walls with the chalks provided. Drinks are good."
"We hosted a 40th birthday party at the alley cat cafe. First, the space is gorgeous, doesn’t need much decor. Romantic, intimate vibes. The food was solid. There wasn’t anything we disliked. Standout food included the lamb chops, shrimp and sausage app and the Mediterranean plate. Thank you to Cate and her team. They were awesome and so easy to work with!! Highly recommend"
