"My burger and fries were delicious as was my salad. However, my family was not to happy with the mac and cheese. The menu did not read jalapeños and corn are prepared with the mac and cheese. The food was just warm, as if it sat awhile before served to us. Not sure we will be return."

"We came to this location after laying to rest our uncle and we had a party of about 20 people and we were accommodated expeditiously as we did hold spaces but we had more people than our spaces were for and we were accommodated with no problem and our server Karly was beautiful and amazing. I'm glad that she was our server and because of the shortage in help it took a little bit longer to get our food but I must say the food was extremely hot and delicious. The manager on duty was amazing I'm sorry I did not get his name but this was the Westland location and we were there yesterday evening. Thank you famous Dave's you made a sad occasion feel just a little bit better because we were there with all of our family from in-state and out of state. Everyone had a great time thank you for your great service!"

"I came here today for the first time, never been here before, but with the signs saying "The best BBQ in Detroit" I figured it would be a nice little stop after Halloween shopping. Overall my experience was pretty mid, the best part of my service was my waitress, who was amazing with her time, always checking on us and making sure we have everything, as well as well as refills in a timely manner. I do have to say though, the food was Mid, I got the Rib tips, with center cut, which was $3 extra making my plate cost about $20. I have two children who got macaroni and cheese, and fries, I was highly disappointed when I saw "KRAFT" Mac in cheese in a supposedly "Highly rated" and quite pricey BBQ place. I paid 8 dollars, for my kids meals each, for what should be $2 Kraft boxed Mac and cheese. My friend got the catfish fingers, and he said it was good, however their sauces are not spicy at all, we tried Devils Spit, and sweet and sassy BBQ and I'd have to say I wouldn't give Devils spit a Three on the spice. It was definitely more of a one or two spice rating. Next time I might try Wilburs Revenge. Alas my trip wasn't horrible but the meat on the ribs and the wings we got were hardly tender, rather very chewy and fatty and hard to tear apart, they didn't melt in my mouth like I expected them to, especially since I specifically asked for center cut for a more tender rib. I'd give it a 3/5 and the service was a 5/5, I would come again, but it'd have to be close by, it's not a place I would consider travel worthy, and I think their title of being the best is a bit of an exaggeration. Especially if they can serve Kraft Mac and Cheese for 8 dollars."

"This was my first visit. My boyfriend and I & got the trashcan lid, and the only thing I didn't like was the brisket was a little salty after you essentially had it in your mouth & chewed on it for a minute. You get a really strong and intense taste of salt. It's almost like they had it in a salt bath or something similar. We also got the chicken tenders for an appetizer & the ranch was not very creamy at all. The flavor was ok. Personally, I liked the honey mustard better. The fries were absolutely amazing. The fried chicken was very moist. The ribs were good, but a bit dry. The coleslaw was ok. The cornmeal muffins were one of my favorites. I didn't eat any of the beans or the corn on the cob. I can't wait to go back."
