Cottage Inn Pizza Novi

"My girlfriend and I both love Cottage Inn pizza, it’s easily our favorite chain pizza spot. We ordered a large pep and innstix at 5:20pm for an arrival time of 6:30pm for the start of a sporting event as we are sick of cooking this week. Our pizza arrived at 5:40pm, 50 minutes early and neither the innstix or pizza were even warm and it was the WRONG pizza anyways. Both items had to have been pre cooked for the day and sitting out waiting to be ordered by someone and we happened to be the lucky buyers. On top of that, we’ve both been feeling under the weather the past few days and asked in the “special instructions” section if they could leave it at the door and honk when they left. Instead, the driver called the number given and asked for me to come out to him so he could hand it to me. Very, very disappointed and won’t be ordering from this Cottage Inn again. For the price of our cold meal, we recommend Primos Pizza for anyone reading this. Better price, far better pizza."

"Not sure what has happened to this location but the quality of our pizza was nothing like in the past. We ordered the Chicken Mediterranean. The crust was thin and doughy as though it hadn’t been cooked enough. Previously there were pieces of chicken, now it is ground chicken and rather sparse. Although we picked it up within the 20 minutes they said it would be ready, it was cold. So disappointed. Cottage Inn has been a favorite for years, afraid we won’t be back."

"Pizza with better quality ingredients. The pizza dough is defiantly a different type than other pizzerias. Good taste, fresh ingredients. Order was made for the perfection. Staff is super friendly. Plenty of parking in front of the place. Quick service. Limited sitting. Wheelchair accessible. Ordered vegetarian pizza and they made sure that restrictions were maintained for the order."

"This will be the last time we order from Cottage Inn Novi. What started as a simple mistake, turned into a nightmare. I ordered a 4 topping pizza and breadsticks. I picked up my order around 9:15pm. When I got home, I opened my pizza to find it was a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. Not what I ordered. I called to ask for a new pizza. The girl on the phone was extremely rude. She said, "I guess I can make you a new one". Then proceeded to tell me it would be another 30 minutes. When I asked why my order wasn't correct the first time, she explained she was the only person working and that I needed to just understand they were "busy". It was a Tuesday. I told her I would drive BACK up there and wait for my pizza. I had already paid 30$ for a large pizza and breadsticks, I'm committed at this point. When I walked in for the second time (With the incorrect pizza in my hand), I noticed that was she NOT the only one working, but was working without any gloves while handling uncooked food. Both employees ignored me for 10 or so minutes before even acknowledging I was there. I waited another 20 minutes until the rude employee walked back up to the counter and threw my pizza next to the register, looked at me, and said, "It's correct now". NO APOLOGY. They never owned up to the mistake, never said "We are sorry, we'll fix it". Nothing. This is by far the worst way to treat customers, especially when such a simple mistake could have been easily remedied by offering an apology and We'll fix it for you. Instead, I was treated rudely and unfairly. They could offer me free pizza for a year and I wouldn't return to this place. Oh, I forgot the best part, see the picture for the abysmal second pizza I received."
