"We were honestly disappointed. The beef teriyaki was like jerky. The sushi was warmer and fishier smelling than should be and the sashimi was very thick and chewy. We also felt rushed the entire time. Our total was a little over $100.00 and I went home and had to make something to eat because the beef teriyaki and rolls were so disappointing."
"Happy Sushi has been my regular Sushi restaurant for many years. I have always just liked it better than other nearby restaurants. The sushi always tastes fresh and delicious. The staff are very nice. It is a peaceful place to dine in. I recommend it very highly. There are some “fancier” nearby sushi restaurants but the sushi is inferior at most of them. This is definitely my sushi spot in Novi."

"I'm disappointed as this review is not about quality or taste. I placed an online order and I feel I had a couple of rolls missing from my order. I called the restaurant and due to language barrier from the lady that picked up the call, they didn't understand me when I tried to explain I was missing food from my order. I had to hang up. The rolls that I did get were good, no complaints on taste. I ordered total of 8 rolls, 2 were asparagus, which were on it's own box, but they couldn't have fit 6 rolls in the other box, 3 of them being specialty rolls."
