"We had such a lovely Sunday brunch - they don't take reservations for the 11am-1pm rush, but we were able to get a 10:45am reservation which was just perfect! Parking was easy right outside. When you walk in, you immediately see the fresh seafood on ice and everything looked beautiful. I can't wait to come back for dinner and oysters - they had such a nice selection. We were greeted warmly and seated by the host, and our server was great even though it was packed. The classic bloody Mary was perfect with a fresh, cold shrimp on the side, and my Mom's mimosa was perfectly balanced - not too much OJ, not too sweet. The food was really fantastic - just cooked and seasoned so well. My Mom had the breakfast fries which was so good with a very yummy sauce, bacon crumbles and an egg. I had the crab cakes benedict, which I highly recommend. The eggs were poached perfectly, hollandaise was creamy and savory, and the crab cakes were mostly fresh lump crab just barely held together. Delicious. It comes with breakfast potatoes, which were good but not great - but I ordered a side of their fries, and I'm so glad i did. They're very thin and crispy and dusted with this amazing spice blend that has just the slightest bit of curry powder in it, I think, and it went so nice with the seafood and gave them a unique yummy flavor that made me want to keep eating them. Delicious. I can't wait to come back again."

"The Sardine Room is a cute oyster bar. It was my first visit. I arrived at 9:35 and was told by the hostess they are on winter hours and close at 10pm. Even though that has been updated on the website but not when you Google for directions which threw me a bit. But I respect it. I was hesitant to stay but hostess was nice and reassured me I had enough time to order. I sit at the bar and the bartender is being professional but rushing. He asked for my drink order and says I have 5mins to order from menu if I what food. I place drink order and order oysters. He immediately brings bill. My issue is I do understand it was the end of the night but if you're closing soon stop taking customers and I could have gone somewhere else and returned on another day. To allow me in, reassure me I could still order but to be rushed to order/eat/pay was just not cool. Simply because I didn't feel taken care of, I probably won't return."

"Pretty good happy hour, excellent Shrimp and Grits. For happy hour, you need to arrive at 4pm, otherwise you might have trouble getting a seat. Limited happy hour drink selection, however good prices."

"I had a tough one wondering what I was going write here. They do not accept reservations which their happy hour runs from four to six and they are always busy. If you want to eat before 7:00 I advise you to get there before 6:00. The table we had was shaking and wobbly and during the meal one of our drinks fell right off the table. It took us a while to get that cleaned up. There was a smell in the place that was obviously fish and it is the Sardine Room but it was overwhelming. The food was very good I had the fish and chips which was fresh and cooked very well. My companion had the sauteed Perch which they enjoyed very much. The wait staff was not very attentive. They left our appetizer dishes on the table when they brought our entrees. Finally when the table got cluttered I moved our empty dishes to an empty table. Even on a good day the best I could give this restaurant is a three and a half. I doubt that I will return. Although there are many good restaurants in that area I'll be checking them out. Stay tuned. Dinner for two with a couple of drinks $100."
