"I swear, this school is the worst I attended it and a teacher always tells me to take off my jacket and singled me out. She even called my parents because of a jacket. DO NOT ATTEND TO THIS SCHOOL, YOU WILL BECOME MISERABLE"
"If I could rate it under the one star I would! After I enrolled my son and met with the principle and they saved him a tire sent him to school the following day to only find out my child sat in the gym the whole day and he will not even return my phone calls saying my child wasn’t accepted umm after someone went and bought all those dress code uniforms he says to the receptionist he never told me my son was accepted like really if that was the case why have the office hold a tie for him with his name on it! That school is horrible at communication because I could’ve enrolled my son somewhere else but when you support African Americans you get screwed in the end!"
"Do not attend this school! The teachers are not organized and a there is only a hand full of teachers that actually care. My daughter is a 13yr old who they just don't care to help with issues. These children in this school during school hours is on their own. I will not have my son attend next year and will NOT recommend this to no parents looking for a great school. My children only attended 1 yr and I wish I could have switched them before the end of the year. No after school functions and no avid transportation."
"UYA school is so unorganized. The teacher(s) forget to return weekly homework to the students. So if you dont get the homework back on Monday, your child cant complete Tuesday's homework. It was also said to my nephew he couldnt get off the school bus to go get my daughter so they can ride the bus home from school. So my daughter was left at the school until i came to pick her up. Not once did i get a call wondering if someone was coming to pick her up. I had to wait until the bus arrive to realize my nephew was on the bus and not my daughter."
"This is my last year at University Yes Academy and im glad. Its an alright school but the school has pest, rodents, and bugs. Staff does nothing about it. Recently, there was a mouse incident in a classroom and all the staff did was make jokes and laugh in which they should of called pest control but they didn't. Plus the school is on the verge of closing so I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone."
