"My friend’s daughter attends this school. I attended their Open House with them in September, and it was the most well-organized, thoughtfully put together school event I think I’ve ever seen. The principal delivered important information for parents to know while sharing some great news about all of the successes this school is experiencing! The entire staff was there to meet and greet the families, and you could just feel the warmth and genuine care throughout the school on this day. The students all looked happy and proud to be a part of this wonderful school. I was highly impressed with everything I saw! If you’re looking for a gem of a school, this is it!"

"Regarding Pembroke Academy’s grade placement platform, I believe this to be an optimal way to service our students. At most schools, students enroll and are placed at the grade level they apply for. At Pembroke Academy, placing students at their current reading level affords both students and teachers several advantages. For the students, this allows for the curriculum to meet them where they are at. It gives them a solid footing to move forward from. Reading is an essential skill across all content areas. When a student can understand what they are reading, their learning has no limits. For the teachers, this allows them to put a laser focus on all students, all the time. It removes the excessive time needed to both plan and instruct a classroom with a wide range of reading levels. At previous schools I have worked at, both as an admin and a teacher, meeting the needs of all students was a daunting challenge. Many school years my middle school classes had students reading at elementary levels. That amount of differentiation was challenging and it always felt like it was not enough to help the lower level readers truly understand the concepts being taught. Having classrooms where students are at the same reading level, truly is a game changer for everyone!"

"I have a niece and nephew who have attended the school since it opened and it is by far, the most organized school that I have ever seen. As far as communication is concerned, every month a Parent Newsletter is emailed out and it gives us all the information for that month, including lunch menus. Teachers also send out a newsletter for their grade level. Parents can access your child's grades on the Parent Portal 24/7 so you should never be surprised about any grades that your student receives. The Drive Line setup keeps all the students safe, all the staff is working together and I have even seen the principal, Mrs. Glenn, out in the rain putting in Drive Line numbers. The school is very focused on academics and making sure that students learn, so if that is not your goal, then this may not be the school for your child. I like the fact that all students must test. It let's me know that the school and its leadership is about the business of educating. They have my full support."

"My experience here at Pembroke Academy has been nothing but great. My daughter has never been in school or daycare before, so I thought her transitioning to school would be so hard. However, the teachers and upper management of this school helped with the transition which made it a lot easier for her. Now as of today she looks forward to going to school, and do not want to miss a day. When she come home from school she talks about her day and how much she loves school the entire ride home and about an hour once we get home (its a long ride home lol). I enjoy hearing the excitement in her voice and seeing the smile on her face as she reflects back on her school day. Her teacher is amazing. All the teachers here are amazing. If you want your child to learn and exceed more than you ever thought they could....Pembroke Academy is definitely the school to visit. I promise you will not be disappointed."

"I am a VERY proud and satisfied parent of a Pembroke Academy Young 5's student. Starting school was an adjustment for my daughter. It was all new to her. Now, my daughter is excelling- top 2 of her class! Her teacher, Mrs. Amatulhaqq is amazing. She has truly been a blessing to us. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher school. They have the safest drop-off/pick-up ever. The fact that my five year old is learning Mandarin & robotics blows my mind. I would highly recommend Pembroke Academy!"
