"Burger was okay. But look at the fries. This is how it was when I took it out of the bag. I haven't had a single fry yet. This is what you consider a large fry? This is pathetic. I'll bet I could dump that into a medium and there'd still be room for more fries. Don't eat here, they charge you for a large and then give you a medium in a large container."
"Hate that they replaced human interaction with these self order machines and then ask to give a tip before checking out. Like who am I supposed to tip, myself for placing the order and making sure everything was correct and taking it to my table myself. It was perfect before, loved talking with the cashiers and having them come to the table and handing them personally a tip. And what the heck is up with having to scan a ticket to get a refill. It's just crazy."
"Stopped here for a quick bite before going to the movies. Ordered a #8 (bacon double) w/ large drink and large onion rings, and single steak burger. We got to the window and payed, was handed a medium drink, I asked if it was a large she said no (she had even asked again if the onion rings were a large as well a second time). Asked for a side of ranch for the rings , surprised to find out they charge $.42 for them, stingy but okay... Payed for those and left only to find out the bacon burger had no bacon... If your company is going to be that cheap you should at least make sure the customer is getting what they pay for."
"Clean and convenient. I don’t understand why people gave 1 star due to the kiosk order even if the food quality is decent. I liked burgers and onion rings. And the reasonable price is the plus."
"Steak n’ Shake is… Steak n’ Shake. You go there to eat, chat, and not spend a lot. It’s good for what it is. When you walk in you can order on kiosks- this may be difficult for people who are not tech savvy. There were also limited options when it came to the menu (I’m not sure if it was down-sized.) We ordered the single bacon cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake- the milkshake was a +2.00 up charge. Our total was $19 for two people- not bad. I wish the parking lot was larger!"
