Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Terrible management at Westnedge location. I used to love Applebee's in my youth. The past few years this franchise has gone downhill. I always think it's going to be a good experience taking my family out, but this is not the place for that. Always a long wait to be seated. Once we were seated over 10 minutes a server finally noticed (she wasn't supposed to be our server) and apologized for the newer servers lack of knowledge. I will say that this server was very kind. However, after we finally ordered ourdrinks we saw the drinks sit at the bar again for more than 10 minutes. I went to the bar and asked the bar tender if I could take our drinks and she obliged saying she had called multiple times for a runner. It was another 15 minutes or so before the food came. At least it was fresh and hot, but my 3 young kids were restless at this point. Not once did the manager approach us and we were not compensated about the ridiculous wait from when we were first seated or offered anything for it. We definitely won't be going back because simple mediocre food is not worth that kind of wait at what is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant."

"I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of chain places, but this is where my mom want to eat for Christmas dinner. The food was OK, but the reason I felt compelled to leave a review was that the service was great. I understand the service industry is overworked, underpaid, etc, etc so when you get a good waitress or waiter, you can’t help but want to acknowledge them. We had a group of around 10 people and the drinks were never empty and the food came out pretty quick."

"The customer service was terrible , it’s like nobody cleaned or attempted to clean the booths, me and my family stepped on wet floors and trash from under our tables, the seats weren’t clean at all. My aunt asked for there to be no onions because she’s allergic and they still put onions in her food. Service was just to slow for them to be forgetting everything we needed."

"This place should probably close.... 222233333 There's no staff. Why did you open the door? And a high school hideout. We were like strangers. Update ××× SERVER is BAD and SLOW with NO ENERGY and PASSION. NO REFILLS and on top of her uniform she is wearing dirty outdoor clothing. The chicken was SO DRY and had NO FLAVOR and the onions and mushrooms sautee was still crunchy. The steak was WELL DONE when asked for MEDIUM and deep fried shrimp was floppy."

"Decent food and good service. We were in a hurry, and then served us quickly. Plus they had Dollaritas, Margaritas for a dollar."
