"Wow, this place is amazing, but also expensive. The best sushi I've had in indiana! The portion sizes are surprisingly ample for a high-end restaurant. We were able to get a bottle of wine for $35, which I thought was a great deal. The potatoes were underdone on our appetizer, but the smoked trout was delicious. I had the duck a la orange, which was really good, although the squash was a weird mix of squishy and tough. My boyfriend had the salmon entre, which was stacked on rice wrapped in banana or grape leaves? It was spicy with an Asian flare topped with kimchi. The salmon was so juicy and delicious, perfectly cooked. Definitely try the banana napoleon. It's huge! It was my birthday and they gave me 2 free scoops of house made gelato. The waiter was friendly and personable and went out of his way to make sure our questions were answered correctly. Our total bill came to $189 before tip. The outside of the restaurant is supper cute. What i saw of the Inside didn't have as much character but was still nice. There is a really cool wine room you can peer through the glass at that has one table in it that would have been really cool to eat at. All in all a really good experience for special occasions. I will definitely be back for the sushi."

"We have wanted to check out Corndance for quite a while but it just never worked out until now. Our 3rd wedding anniversary was the chosen day for our visit. And it was the perfect choice. I can't say enough good things about this place. We don't have 1 complaint! I would like to give a special Thank you to our waiter Justin for being a great part of our wonderful experience. "I give my honest reviews to small, local, one of a kind and chain restaurants. The atmosphere is great and the service is amazing. We ordered several steaks at our table but we felt like there was just not enough flavor to the steaks. But the steaks did come out as requested medium rare and medium per each request. I tried the evening special lobster crepe ravioli I’ll definitely pass next time. I love to try new unique dishes and I love seafood but this was not it too fishy. The combination for the dish had too many different flavors mixed together that did not fit together. The appetizer bread variety of bread was so so but the lemon butter did not match the bread flavors. Mushrooms and onions being one of our favorites for a side dish with our steaks had too much of a balsamic taste to them verses tasting the true flavors of the mushrooms and onions. Now the selection of wine and beer is excellent. After much thought I can not see myself picking this restaurant as one of my top picks. I think the prices of dishes and the flavors of each dish didn’t dazzle me enough to go back for a second try. I’m not a chef but I have culinary experience and love to cook and try new places. This might be the place for you and maybe worth a try for you. This is just my two cents."
