"Great atmosphere, you can see the lake from your table. Love the wood work and the old canoes hanging from the ceiling. The food was delicious. Had the spinach dip appetizer. Waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area again."

Schu's Grill & Bar Restaurant is the perfect place to sit with friends, have a business meeting, or catch up with family. Schu's is located downtown Saint Joseph near the beach. In the restaurant, I appreciate the decor and the boats on the ceiling. So cool! The food is clean and delicious! The cost is pricey, but the quality of the food doesn't lack. I appreciated the service. I had the privilege of being served by Ali, and he treated me well! I plan to return to Schu's Grill & Bar. All in all, great food, great service, and beautiful atmosphere!"

"First time going to this fine establishment in St.Joseph for my wife’s and I’s 4th Wedding Anniversary last week and it was absolutely an amazing experience! We were seated in the bar area at a cozy two top booth and our waitress, the bartender, was so personable and cheery and made our time all the better! The food and drinks were all delicious and came out in a timely manner. We will definitely be coming back to try more of your menu options but as far as the surf and turf and blackened swordfish go, you guys knocked it out of the park with flavor and presentation! Wonderful times……"

"Went to specifically try out the spring rolls and ended up adding the Baked Spinach Dip and a Michigan Old Fashion as well. Not disappointed at all - they are as good as they look! The menu is full of appetizing options so we're ready to come back and try something else next time. We're from out of town so it was a nice surprise when we showed up to eat and they had a little parade beginning right outside the restaurant. We sat in the outdoor patio area which had heat lamps in case the breeze was too chilly for some. The host and waitress were very pleasant. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Great sit down option!"
