"My husband and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first time. The atmosphere is very cozy, inviting and intimate The food was amazing, however, the thing that really brought the whole experience over the top was our server, Max. He truly is very good at his job. He was kind, knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive, but not over-the-top. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"I came here for the first time this past Valentine's Day. The restaurant wasn't too terribly busy, and we were greeted almost immediately. We had reservations, so we had no wait to be seated. The atmosphere was very warm and comforting. Our server was prompt and pleasant. We started with adult beverages. I ordered the baby spice, which I would recommend if you like a little spice added to your cocktail. For dinner, I ordered the surf and turf filet with lobster tail, which is displayed in the photo. The food was prepared just as I asked and made quick. The portions I felt were small for the price but other than that I had an amazing experience. I will be recommending this establishment to all looking for a fine dining experience."

"Decided to go for my birthday. While this wasn't the 1st time I've been to Shkode, I was super disappointed all around, if I'm honest. Appetizers were by far the best part of the meal. My crabcake was burned on the bottom, and they ended up taking that off our bill. We waited so long for the main courses that the chef made us another appetizer. When I got my filet mignon, it was not great. The worst filet I've ever had, not only was it definitely not 6oz, it had fat grissel just bad. I did enjoy the filet I asked for to replace my bad 1, which was also definitely 6oz. Also, the Mac and Cheese is delicious, but just remembered now the steaks Do Not come with any sides each side I believe are 9 dollars. I also got the 7 layer chocolate cake, and it was just dry this time. Next time we visit, we'll probably only order appetizers and Mac and Cheese."

"We ate there last night and had their surf and turf for two dinner special. Everything was good (not great) except the bread and the lobster. The lobster wasn't cooked correctly and/or old. We even sent one lobster tail back. I only ate two bites of my second one as it still didn't taste right. I didn't want to complain again, so my husband ate his and mine even though he agreed something was off with them. He ended up getting sick, diarrhea from it. Not sure if we will ever go back. If we do, we won't be getting seafood. For the prices, they need to do better."

"I had the pasta dish with wild mushrooms, lions mane that was excellent. Firecracker shrimp which was soggy. I initially was brought someone else's meal. A bit of a wait. I drank a Pina colada prepared by my waiter/bar tender it was excellent. They took the shrimp off the bill. Colin was my server"
